Bending for clams

Another from my photo experiment on razor clam digging on the

Washington coast. The endeavor requires a lot of bending over. Two

details I like in this picture. Both start with "B". Any thoughts

are appreciated.

Nicely exposed image with what could've been interesting silhouettes. However, I think you should've changed your position or asked the clam-digger to turn around so that the guy closest to you wasn't "mooning" you. It would've been better if you had him in profile (like the distant guy) or facing you. Even though he's a blackened silhouette, it's obvious he's sticking his butt out at the viewer.

I agree the clammer in the foregroud would have been better facing either side of the frame. But he actually isn't exactly mooning the camera :) The beer bottle is in his back left pocket.
