susan stone 0 Posted October 16, 2005 I think you posted this just to get my attention knowing that red was my favorite color! This is so beautiful and saturated with that bright red bush in the foreground and as always your lovely sky's in the background. Another photographer had written that for an image to be successful it had to have something in the foreground to draw the eye into the composition and then the middle and back area must also be interesting, you do such an outstanding job of using that principal that your images have a very 3 dimensional look to them. dguindon 0 Posted October 17, 2005 Beautiful! Your photo's gives so much to the viewer that elements beyond the frame are not being searched for. But this one I am. What's behind the red bush...maybe something distracting? Great sky as usual, like that spit of rain in the middle. Looks like a volcano in the background! Another photo for the ages. Link to comment

paula grenside 0 Posted October 18, 2005 This is awesome, Ferrando. What I find amazing in your shots is the fact that both sky and foreground have the same intensity and great impact. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted October 28, 2005 This photo is beautiful, Rafael! The sky is very dramatic and the colors are beautiful overall. As for the composition, I'm very curious to know why you left some space on the left of the bush but cropped some of the bush on the right? Link to comment
labuenaluz 0 Posted October 28, 2005 Thank you all for the nice feedback! The subject within this take was to show the agony of a young Juniper Tree drying from the absence of water the whole past year with the desired autumn rains just arriving, maybe too late for him and his beautifull (and sad) natural cycle. Thai, I choosed the left space to release foreground visual tension and merge the view in foreground and horizon opposite to the nimbus formation, I remember I didnt want to show in this take the hole Juniper bush, thank you again! Best, Rafael Link to comment
irish_one21 0 Posted December 2, 2005 This photo has a great idea to it but the composition is alittle offi know you want to get the left side of the bush open but if you backed up a few steps you could have gotten the whole bush in the picture and kept the opening, now with the opening the picture is very imbalanced the right sid e of the picture is very heavy on the right side with the mid ground of the green trees. i am not putting this photo down i think it is beautiful im just trying to say how it could have been better..keep up the good work Link to comment
