anish 0 Posted October 15, 2005 From a 5 day trip this past September. The light was great throughout the trip, but was at its best here... Link to comment

ismails 0 Posted October 17, 2005 Beautiful!!! I think we should share the place locations too. Maybe we are somewhere near, but dont know such mind-blowing places. Truly fantastic picture. Link to comment
nilesh2 0 Posted October 18, 2005 Great picture!! Splendid colors. Great light. I would also love to look at another version of this picture. How about including more sky and trimming the foreground? Basically I would like to move the camera a bit upward. Regards. Link to comment
anish 0 Posted October 18, 2005 Unfortunately, the only other version i have had the camera pointing a little to the left, which i discarded as the lake got pushed too far to the right. I stood at that spot for about an hour, watching the light and waiting and clicking away. i've realized i have the bad habit of picking one composition and not moving the camera after that. Perhaps if i had tried what you suggested, and even some other variations, i might've come away with some other good shots. thanks, -Anish Link to comment
labuenaluz 0 Posted October 19, 2005 Beautifull scene Anish, I like very much the hole composition, looks like you had great light conditions, and you worked and captured it very well. I saw another great photograph of the same theme here on PN, http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2575938, must be a fantastic place to shot on sunrise/sundown, I would love to go there with my camera and portable HD! 8^), fantastic show, regards, Rafael Link to comment

jay_patel 0 Posted November 2, 2005 Beautiful light. I have camped out at near this spot, but the sky was rather plain when I went there. I have plans to visit this location again. Along with Halfdome, Cathedral peak is one of the most photogenic mountains in the park. Well captured photograph. Link to comment
gabrielconstantin 0 Posted June 6, 2007 here I am with my comment right beneath Patel's.:) simply wanted to say that this exposure is a lot better than her sister you have on the same page. it all comes down to good light. Link to comment
