gmcphotographics 0 Posted October 22, 2005 Hi, i took this image recently during a 4 day visit to the Gower region in Wales. Armed with a set of lee filters and a tripod, my photographic exercise for the duration of my visit was to improve my Landscape skills. Please tell me what you think of this image. It was taken using a Sigma 12-24mm on a 20D. No colour manipulation just a bit of de-res sharpening for the web sized photo. Link to comment

will king 0 Posted October 22, 2005 Gareth, Excellent DOF. If I could only work magic with my 20D like this. Awesome shot. Link to comment
minicucci 0 Posted October 22, 2005 Nice composition except for the tilted horizon. I'd back off the super saturated greens in the foreground. Link to comment
jimg 0 Posted October 22, 2005 The clouds really add to the dramatic lighting and composition. I'd say you were quite successful with this shot. Beautiful work. Link to comment
digitalirony 0 Posted November 5, 2005 I think that this would work better as a square image, losing about a fifth of the foreground and retaining some or the clouds. That said, as it is its better than any sunset I've taken. Link to comment
