I think your compressed tonal range makes this photo work. Working in the background I feel was a good decision as it gives her a bit of time and place. The highlighting is subtle which plays a bit in unison with her shoulder and facial shadowing and detail. Cropping is never an issue with me as cropping is subjective and visually owned by the artist. With women though specially young ones you have to watch the complexion either with makup, powder or photoshop it out. Regards Randall

Another great image. I would not change it or retouch it in anyway. I have been browsing through your PF and you have a very personal style and this image is part of that style... You find so many retouched images that look so artificial and bohring. Your image is life, reality and, if that was not enough, is beautiful as it is. Regards, Alejandro
