mark lucas 0 Posted September 24, 2006 Nice pic from a distance, but poor execution of blending in the sky. What was the background like before? Link to comment
trygve1 0 Posted October 2, 2006 Great with the shadow and the wood in the left side as a frame. Good story in the picture. I like it a lot.. Link to comment
rascal64 9 Posted October 3, 2006 simple and incredibly dramatic. I have seen variations on this theme, but I think that this is set apart by the framing and expanse. It's a wonderful piece. Thank you for sharing with us! Link to comment
vavoulis 0 Posted November 3, 2006 I like the way it seems he's in the middle of nowhere. However it does seem like the sky and horizon is a little messy. It's a nice shot though. Link to comment
robin a. 0 Posted March 2, 2007 I really like this. The lighting, the composition and the childs pose. Very cinematic feel. Nice job! Robin Link to comment
saraht 0 Posted June 8, 2007 its a kind of neutral and real images, without lots of editing! this makes it more interesting to me! nice work! Link to comment
davyjo 0 Posted June 9, 2007 I like the composition. The image grabs my attention. The physics of the image bugs me though. The kid is stuck in limbo. Traveling away from the camera? or towards it? or at the apex?? Similar emotional response to some of my pictures that have a basketball player with the ball sitting on the floor, caught perfectly between dribbles. I suppose this is part of what draws me to this image. Good work! Link to comment
sobie 0 Posted July 9, 2007 everything about this shot is perfect: dramatic mood, the shadows/lighting, and the composition. however, as stated before me, the horizon needs more work with the blending. but I still give it a seven/seven. good job! Link to comment
