Excellent lighting helped me get this sharp, saturated shot really showing off the eye colour

of these interesting birds.

Very cool eyes indeed, though I think the shot would benefit if the beak weren't cut off. Great detail and sharpness though!

Thanks for the suggestion, Zack. I have a few more shots of this bird, I'll experiment with some other crops and see what I come up with.
