davidroossien 0 Posted October 7, 2005 Great contrast of texture and smoothness, of earth gray and color. You can really feel the combining of earth and sky on the water. Even the clouds seem to imply wind. I think you have all the elements here--earth, wind, fire, water (is that all of them...). Link to comment

salvatore.mele 1 Posted October 16, 2005 I like the way the reflection of that sky, here, looks like a flare of fire. A flare which is running toward the viewer. And there is a great contrast between this action and the stillness of the stone. This contrast really makes the picture for me. Now, can I have a tiny little more space to the left of the stone? I understand you cannot barely move the frame since you have to get that cloud to the far right...but, was it conceivable to shot more from the left? OK. I stop nitpiking, sit back, and enjoy this great image, now! Link to comment
AaronFalkenberg 0 Posted October 22, 2005 Jeff, I don't have a lot of experience with these kinds of shots so can't really offer a critique. What struck me were the smooth tones and crisp details. What are you using to scan with, and what is your sharpening technique. Send me an e-mail if it's going to be a lengthy response. cheers, Aaron Link to comment
