The horsetail is reflected in snow melt within a small crater. It was

This shot is easy to overlook Hugo, but I'm surprised that this is the first comment. It's a clever composition, combining formality and abstraction. It is interesting to see how the black component balances the others with less area, and there's lots here to see as I continue to look. Well done.

Followed Leigh here, and this is indeed well done. I'm not sure how I missed it the first time I looked at your portfolio. This is quite beautiful -- in fact, my first item of "critique" is that you should post a larger version to let us see it more clearly. Very original fusion of graphic/abstract and a lakeside scene. Besides the lines dividing the black, dark, and light reflections, I particularly like how you've captured the water grasses as near-abstract, almost two-dimensional forms cast on the surface. As in many of my favorite reflection photos, it's difficult to tell exactly where each stem ends and its reflection begins. Add in the texture of the clouds and the underwater details and there's really much of interest for the eye to study here. Good work.
