I don't know if it is the sepia toning, the dress design, the shoes or the pavement but this shot sounds very 40's in France ... and I like it!

Thanks all for your comments. The end of the shoe doesn't bother me at all. I like it this way, really. For me it is part of the composition. But all tastes are in nature as one says.

All these scenes with people's legs passing through the scene .. with these sepia or b&w tones .. they really have something appealing.
