I have no idea of the name of this spider -I tried Araneus, but seems not- but your shoot is absolutely incredible. All my compliment for your always exceptional work.

Hi Mark ;). It's a crab spider (Thomisidae), probably Ozyptila praticola (check species list of this genus in your local guide). Nice capture.

Excellent Quality. I never would have guessed a 2x TC w/ this lens at f22 could produce an image this good.

Wait - oh s&^t! let me be clear...Excellent job on YOUR part! The lighting, DOF, and optical quality (part I was surprised at) is first rate.

I like spiders and I don't like yellow jackets, but this actually bothers me. It's also a terrific shot, perfectly seen and exposed.

Superb capture of this Spider, only I wish dear Mark that the overall is more contrasted/saturated!!! and some details are lost!?!?!

I had to look closely to see who was having dinner and who was on the menu. That is a very bold spider.
