These artifacts are beautiful and quite appalling. Well worth taking a picture of.

I hope you don't mind; I think it could be an even better photo. My thoughts: there seems to be an overall red cast that makes it dull, there's too much distracting clutter in the background up above, and the strong effect of the diagonal leading back from the shells is somewhat spoiled by the contrary diagonal on the far right. I've attached a version where I've cropped the top and right and removed the red cast. See what you think.
