Hello Bridgette, just finished looking at your images. My thoughts are that if you continue what you are doing you will do fine. This is a great black and white shot. The light is soft and delicate, flattering your subject. Good framing. We have this misconception that a portrait has to be one where the subject is smiling to be successful. This image is clear proof this is not the case. You're doing fine. I have found that by simply taking more pictures with a true heart that we will always improve.

Thanks Roy for your comments. I seem to get a lot of shots of her without smiles and really like them too. I truly appreciate your encouragement.

Hello Bridgette. I try to practise one act of kindness each and every day. I have come to a point in my life where I enjoy giving something back. After all it was the action of one man that made me become a better photographer. Just a few simple words. I look forward to seeing more of your subject.
