happy_chappy 0 Posted October 3, 2005 There may be some who like the attitude that the shot has, but, you have lost her arm. I am an ex-wediing photographer and can assure you, this is disastrous! In fact, I clicked on the thumbnail as I wondered how you had dealt with an 'afflicted' bride only to find the affliction was how you posed her! Remember - a bride wants to be shown at her best - losing an arm doesn't portray that. :-( Link to comment
bw1664881174 0 Posted March 18, 2007 Maybe just me, but I would rather loose the arm than have 90% of the wedding shots I have seen. I know a lot of brides go for the 'standard' shots but I've seen a refreshing trend to promote candid shots and put the soft filters in the bin. Long may it continue. We decided when we got married not to have a professional but let people shoot and promoted people to come forward and we posed for whoever wanted it. I'm happier with the shots than I have seen in most wedding albums. Its a preference and not a disaster. Link to comment
