karen18 0 Posted October 2, 2005 The BW works well with this shot. There is almost too much in the foreground. It tends to detract from the house which seems to be the focal point. There is so much you could do with the area. Keep up the good work. Link to comment
pennyjack 0 Posted October 2, 2005 Very well done. Great image. EDIT- I like the clutter in the foreground as it implies that there was great commotion at this seemingly serene setting. Without the debris, you have a picture of a house on a plain, those are all to common. Link to comment
david aichele 0 Posted October 2, 2005 I agree with Karen's comments. I am not sure what your point of interest is in the picture. My eye tends draw towards the pile of wood in the center of the shot. If you have an opportunity to take this shot over, I would suggest that you keep the house in the same position, but rotate your shot so that the pile is absent. Link to comment
arkady ten 0 Posted October 4, 2005 Great picture! On one side we have devastatioin and decay on another dark sky framed by clouds. It seems like a contrast of enternal and temporal. I guess that framing could be a little bit tighter at the bottom (1/5 of the size or less) and at the same time bigger skies might have intensify the message. Link to comment
