pdoyle 0 Posted October 4, 2005 First of all, very inventive, and nice tones. It's a fun idea! A few suggestions/comments: the part of the fork above the flower looks like it's out of line with the handle below. Not sure if it's a curve in the fork but it looks strange. Also, where you placed the nose just looked like strong blurring to me at first. Finally, the lighting on the flower, esp. the stem, looks kind of flat. Maybe you could experiment with different lighting angles for the flower to bring out more of the contours. In any case, congratulations on an interesting photo! Link to comment
sophiedegouw 0 Posted October 23, 2005 Thank you for your kind words and tips Philip and Tutku, they really help to improve my (next) creations and skills. Philip: I airbrushed a little to fade the partition between nose and fork. I agree with you that it turned out a little bit too blurry, but I couldn't make it better (still learning). You're totally right on the lighting on the flower, next time I will try to create more depth by making parts darker. Tutku: I'm trying to improve my '3d-skills', although I find it quite hard! bryantrook 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Quite original. I didn't notice the nose until I read comments. Good work on the hands. Link to comment
