pnital 36 Posted September 29, 2005 Naftali, I like that one. there is a lot to observe in it, the photo on the wall is static even it is a bus?.. the guard is static, the only "movement" are the wrestlers on the left hs.... and the reflection on the shining floor nicely croped. drybrain 0 Posted September 30, 2005 Pnina & Paolo- thanks for taking time to comment. the croping was dictated by the frame. i wish i had both wrestlers but i didn't and to tell you the truth i'd rather get rid of the partial second figure altogether, but i didn't want to do too much PS. my focus (mentally) was on contrasting a live but bored stuporous guard vs the brutal energy of sculpted "lucha libre" action, the whole thing was shot through a glass wall with reinforcing beams, so i had some limitations there as well. the caravan on the wall picture of course is going nowhere; like the rest of the pesonages in the frame. oswegophoto 1 Posted July 11, 2006 Wonderful image. I have no problem with the crop; I think it's more dynamic having the only action in the frame pushing past the edge. I'm more bothered by the glare, about which I'm sure you did what you could. Ironic composition, clever title; beautifully done. Link to comment
