not 100% sure what you were going for but would've liked to see the "finger" a little clearer (hmmm, sounds strange). Maybe a little smaller aperture to get it & him in better focus.

This is actually a portrait of a 'character' (Parker as opposed to Doug who plays him) on the set of a feature film. The goal was to capture the mood of his character, who is a little messed up. The photographic emphasis was meant to be on his stare and expression (which are perfectly in focus), hence the shallow DOF and blurred finger. I guess the fact that people have a strong negative reaction to the photo means it will serve it's purpose well as a poster...getting people's attention at least. Personally, I like it :) Thanks for your comments...this is more than I've gotten on any of my 'good' photos!
