chris_browne 0 Posted November 27, 2001 Great shot, I love the colours and the perspective. The clump of flowers at the bottom are cut off unfortunately. Link to comment
bruce wilson 0 Posted November 28, 2001 Great shot, good time of day for it, too. I've been trying to get a sense of scale here, to figure out how tall the falls are, but can't get a good grasp. The green hills in the background make it look huge, but the flowers and grass on the bottom and left-hand side make it seem small because there is no 'distance' between them and the falls. Sure is a pretty place. Link to comment
mohr 0 Posted November 28, 2001 ScaleThe waterfall is about 60 meters high.At that point of time, the last visitorshave gone. The scenery was shimmering in a soft yellow evening light.Yes, next time the picture with moreflowers and a better foreground.I hope to visit Iceland again. jersey_emt 0 Posted December 14, 2001 The colors here are simply amazing. Waiting for the "Golden Hour" here surely paid off. The fact that the flowers are cut off at the bottom is a mere technical detail that can (and should) be easily overlooked. The beauty of the subject, plus the interesting angle, makes this a wonderful piece. Link to comment
tonys 0 Posted December 19, 2001 Lovely photograph Philipp and a fitting title. The golden pink color of the waterfall is eye-catching. Congratulations. Link to comment
