laura2 0 Posted September 25, 2005 I was cleaning out my room and found my abalone shell I bought last year in California. Weird how something so brown, rough, and uninviting has such a smooth, multicolored, shimmering inside. This is a macro of two of the holes alongside the abalone shell. No clue if these were natural, or drilled into the shell, though I'd presume they were natural since the holes are lined with mother of pearl. Does this macro lead your eye well? Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted September 25, 2005 wow, this is kind of captivating. My eyes are all over the place. there is so much color and contrast. Parts look digitized or out of focus, but i'm assuming this is natural and just part of the shell. cool shot. cg Link to comment
tbonemah 0 Posted June 21, 2006 I am hoping to learn how to shoot a series in this style. Thinking of creating some large prints on canvas for my office. Inspirational Laura, thank you. Link to comment
