Just a photo of the wrath of Katrina, amongst the widespread destruction of this apartment building, Katrina was gentle enough to spare this stairwell.

I recently spent two weeks in Biloxi and Ocean Springs, MS helping

the victims of Hurricaine Katrina. This particular site really

struck me, as Katrina took down everything around it but was kind

enough to spare the stairs...

 

Please keep in mind as you view this photo, it was taken from a

moving vehicle, as we were not allowed to walk on the beach, and

could only enter the damaged areas with police or military escort.

Very low contrast here... do you have PS? Maybe play with the contrast and levels a little bit to make it less washed out...
