My 2 year old's first time incharge of a Hosepipe

Good shot. Do you have a waterproof camera, or a really good zoom lens???

 

This is a fun picture. A small crop on the right to remove the green hose would help as well as a bit of colour saturation to bring out the beautiful flowers.

I used a 300mm Zoom... which still got slightly wet... but thems the hazzards :). It's all dried and nice again now.

 

I take your point about the crop.. I will sort that, and see about the color levels. I put these photo's up (on the whole) unenhanced.. for guidance on how to improve the shot (such as youve given).

Paul, it's a wonderful shot. My feeling is leave the hose. It's part of the story and adds a pleasant imbalance. Upping the colors just a bit might help, but it's great as is. Thanks for sharing it. GB

I too would try without the hose...
