doug_dolde 11 Posted September 22, 2005 Pretty powerful. The highlights need to be burned down and the shadows dodged to get it right though. Link to comment
rue morgue 0 Posted September 22, 2005 ANTHONY,thanks for critiques. Yes i think that the title is wrong, and i think next time i will do better...that wasn't a puddle.... all seems really more little, but the rock on the left, for example , was more high than me.... ok, BYE! Link to comment
anthony_higgins 0 Posted September 25, 2005 Touchy. Just stated the fact. Face it, there's no scale here. A bush, tree, backpack, person, sailboat or something is missing...there's still that bomb Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted September 26, 2005 Who says that you should only take nice pictures of blue skies in sunny days in the mountains? I like the way you've captured the fog/clouds and the intoxicating light they produce: it nicely contrasts with the flat quiet of the lake. As for the discussion about providing a scale or not, I usually like to include a human figure in the shot. In this case it might have worked well to give a sense of "grandeur" to the landscape, as it might risk to lose it without a scale. Other times the lanscape speaks by itself. Link to comment
christopheroquist 0 Posted May 23, 2008 Woooowwwww... Looks like another planet. I would have loved to see more contrast in the sky, but this shot is wonderful. The sheet of calm water in the middle of all that angular rubble, and the contour of the scenery make the shot interesting, and of course the colors produce a mesmerizing mood.. Link to comment
