ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted November 24, 2001 Broke the rule by centering the subject. Who cares? It works well! Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted November 24, 2001 Joao, Nice try. Great exposure but missed focus on the gull by a foot. Should have more room in front of gull than behind. (sorry Ken) These comments may seem picky but after reflecting on them you may automatically consider them the next time a similar scene presents itself. Not to say I wouldn't make the same mistakes but hindsight is easy. Best, LM. Link to comment
steve_strawn 0 Posted November 25, 2001 The color here is great, but I just don't feel the centered composition works here. Some room in front of the bird or possibly even on top would have made for a much better shot. Link to comment
phil_anderson4 0 Posted November 28, 2001 I'm thinking square... Try croping out some of the distracting out of focus forground, and croping in a little on the top, so the gull is slightly down from the center. Very cool shot! Link to comment
jeff.grant 0 Posted November 30, 2001 I like this shot. It would have been a knockout with a little detail in the gull. Link to comment
