david robinson 0 Posted September 18, 2005 Colin, they not only look alike they have the same posture/attitude. This is really funny. Also I note how well you have made your subjects stand out from the crowd both in your lighting and with this DOF. Well done Colin... Link to comment
mspanakis 0 Posted September 18, 2005 From the thumpnail I wondered what interest that could present. Now I see your point. Very good observation... particularly the hands!... And I agree with David about the dof and the contrast in tone between fore and back. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted September 18, 2005 LOL, this is funny. My, they could be brothers! Same expression. Anather very original capture. Link to comment

pjmeade 12 Posted September 18, 2005 Hello Colin, I hadn't seen the title as this loaded, but I immediately thought "dogs and their masters..." Very nice observation. Thanks for looking at my Tiger Moth, it may go into critique only at some point. Peter Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted September 18, 2005 Thanks everyone! When I saw this guy I was amazed at how alike he and his dog were. Just had to see if I could catch the likeness! David, manolis, the DOF and contrast are 'assisted' with PS and I also had to remove someone standing behind him (in PS naturally!) Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted September 18, 2005 Great eye, Colin! The image and the caption both figure well!! I keep finding other little details that make the man and his dog alike. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted September 18, 2005 Colin, A big smile brought me that scene... how well the caption is, the dark bg. accentuate the couple...very nicely observed. Pnina Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted September 19, 2005 Colin, my goodness, before I noticed the caption, the first thought I had was that. Great humour to the shot and nice toning. Link to comment

erin.e 0 Posted September 21, 2005 This guy certainly looks just as tenacious as his canine friend, but would have been a tight fit in the cockpit of a Spitfire during the Battle of Britain. The British Bulldog incarnate in both incarnations. Winston Churchill was the archetype of that, although even uglier than the bulldog if that is possible. Good eye as usual Colin. Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted September 22, 2005 Well seen, great capture and nice title ;-) Cheers Carsten Link to comment
