Colin, they not only look alike they have the same posture/attitude. This is really funny. Also I note how well you have made your subjects stand out from the crowd both in your lighting and with this DOF. Well done Colin...

From the thumpnail I wondered what interest that could present. Now I see your point. Very good observation... particularly the hands!... And I agree with David about the dof and the contrast in tone between fore and back.

Hello Colin, I hadn't seen the title as this loaded, but I immediately thought "dogs and their masters..."

Very nice observation.

Thanks for looking at my Tiger Moth, it may go into critique only at some point.

Thanks everyone! When I saw this guy I was amazed at how alike he and his dog were. Just had to see if I could catch the likeness!

David, manolis, the DOF and contrast are 'assisted' with PS and I also had to remove someone standing behind him (in PS naturally!)

Great eye, Colin! The image and the caption both figure well!! I keep finding other little details that make the man and his dog alike.

Colin, A big smile brought me that scene... how well the caption is, the dark bg. accentuate the couple...very nicely observed. Pnina

Thanks Lou Ann, Pnina, Amar, Amal, Biliana, Denis, Ognian - I'm glad you liked the joke. I got the impression the guy knew what effect his appearance had and was playing up to it.

This is great Colin ... did also pull the big smile from me. Now I just wonder how the wife is looking.......... Very well executed.

This guy certainly looks just as tenacious as his canine friend, but would have been a tight fit in the cockpit of a Spitfire during the Battle of Britain. The British Bulldog incarnate in both incarnations. Winston Churchill was the archetype of that, although even uglier than the bulldog if that is possible. Good eye as usual Colin.
