mikemilton 0 Posted November 22, 2001 Here is an alternate take on the Yosemite chappel - taken late in the day after my son was marrier at Lone Yellow Pine and just before we returned to the chappel and the photograhy at the chappel began. I was trying to get the scale and atmosphere 'right' Link to comment
alex_lau 0 Posted November 22, 2001 Beautiful color. I am troubled by the hot spot from the right side of the sky. A little manipulation in Photoshop would salvage that. How you use the D30 as non digital (as stated in the film usage section)? Link to comment
charles_jacobson 0 Posted November 22, 2001 nice composition, I like the way in which the picture cuts at a diagonal. Maybe could have found a little more detail in the dark spots. nice pic. Link to comment
todd_west 0 Posted November 22, 2001 Been looking at Bierstadt, no? I like this composition much better than the frame filling version. Could you have gone with a slightly wider field of view? The trees at the edges are cut off, and the sliver of foreground shadow is distracting. Seems like showing more of it would likely do a nice job of balancing the cliffs.Tricky to balance exposure across the frame. I don't think you used a grad here, but it looks like one would have helped a lot. Link to comment
