I know this place pretty well, and I am happy the rate-recent random chance brought me to this picture of yours. Actually, while in the alps I've seen many gliders but never many pictures taken from there.

The picture originality speaks by itself.

What I like is the composition you've got here. The wing to the bottom gives me clearly the idea we're on a glider and provides foreground. I tried to remove it, and the picture, although still balanced, lost some of its context. That's a good proof you need it. Incidentally, the other glider being white, I like the red marks which enliven the scene.

Overall, I like the clear foreground (wing) middle ground (other glider) and background (Mt Blanc, Maudit, Tacul, Aig. du midi... you name it is all there) structure of the shot.

Things which puzzle me a bit is the haze which burned a bit the mountain range, or is it an exposure problem? From the shadow tp the bottom this seems not to be the middle of the day.

Ah, the reflection off the window...but I guess that's hard to avoid, is it?

I am pleased that this caught your eye and that you know the area well. I have many more photos when I get the chance to process them. Mont Blanc is overexposed. The 10D seems to have this tendency, and that's even with me generally setting 1-2 stops under from the meter reading.

I bet the view from the ground here is amazing, nevermind up in a glider. I don't know if I'd have the bottle to get in one of those! Love that you've managed to get another glider in shot.

I like it, it captures a large amount of visual information; glider in the backround adds to its general appeal. Dynamic range also looks quite decent, and that overexposure you mentioned is very slight, given the circumstances.
