tejedor de luz 0 Posted September 13, 2005 Maybe you should submit to a non-smoking agency. Makes me want to start smoking again. Link to comment
AntonioC 8 Posted September 13, 2005 As a smoker myself, I must admit this is really gorgeous. Technically very well done, it makes me laugh about my own attitude ;-) ciao Link to comment
haleh b 0 Posted September 13, 2005 I am not too hung up on the smoking factor because I find it to be accessory to his expression and technique used. Link to comment
randall paul 0 Posted September 14, 2005 Yes Excellent photo. Sense of humour shows through. Excellent colours and contrasts. Regards Randall Link to comment
bens 0 Posted September 14, 2005 great pose and composition, but the whites of the eyes are so white as to look unnatural to me. Link to comment
mtreinik 0 Posted September 14, 2005 I think the sharpening and blurring went overboard, but it's nice as graphic art. Link to comment

miles1 0 Posted September 14, 2005 Well composed portrait with very good use of photoshop. I see you shot it on an Olympus OM 10, I love those old Olympus cameras I still use an OM 2 sometimes. Good work, Cheers, Miles. Link to comment
69mm 0 Posted September 14, 2005 thank you guys! morgan i like this camera too, but I think that is not far the time when I'll take a new camera (maybe a canon 20D). But my olymus will be mine forever :P @anthony: thanks for the comment, i use a simply kodak 100 asa :) Link to comment
mriy 0 Posted September 14, 2005 Beautiful portrait. Agree that I'd like to see the tip of his finger at the bottom(or maybe burned in a bit at the bottom), but it looks gorgeous as is. I'm very anti-smoking but i still like a great photograph and this is one. The expression, the eyes, the fingers, the sweat and the textural detail make it strong and the weary posture and overall composition makes it approachable and not overly intimidating. Very effective and nice. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 15, 2005 Too much sharpening for my taste, but a very striking picture none the less. Hard to forget :o) Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 16, 2005 Very good one and quite different from most of the portraits I have seen recently! thanks for posting. Link to comment
