Thanks you all. At the time I was processing this I thought about doing something about the reflections at the top of the frame. In the end I decided not to remove them because I thought it would be a more interesting image in its current form. But since I never actually tried it the other way I can't say that for certain. I am still toying with the idea of trying it the other way and doing a visual comparison. Why haven't I already you ask? Good question. The truth is I just got side tracked editing other images.

my first thought without reading others comment was to lose the reflections in the right, at least the darkest parts, imho this image is the best of the 9 from the previews in your recent file

Thank you Ian. I appreciate the input. One of these nights I am going to have to try cloning out those shadows and do an actual visual comparison.

 

P.S. Personally I like the moonset photo best myself. However part of that may be because of the fun I had taking it. In any event I am proud of this one as well and I am grateful for your comments.
