Sunset at Barmouth estuary

I never submitted this for critique and rating originally because it

seemed a little too cliched, but polling around photo.net has shown

that sunrises and sunsets are definitely back in fashion - as they

should be - God's awesome artistic exhibition recreated twice daily

for our enjoyment, never two the same. What do you think?

I've sort of picked up some of what you alluded to about sunsets being treated as cliched here, but like you, I still find them interesting and enjoyable. What helps make this dodge the "cliche" folder, I feel, is the geometric framing. Some might suggest you crop tighter on the bottom or top to push the sun further off center (even though technically it's a bit below center), but then you'd lose a sufficient amount of either sky or reflection to round out the geometry. I can see why you liked this shot, and I like it, too.
