Here is another shot from our recent trip to Yosemite over Veterans

I think this is a well executed shot. Nice color, lighting and sharp details. The only thing that distracts me is the grey cliff at the top of the picture. You may have included that in to balance the space for the top and bottom of the composition but the grey just doesn't seem to fit the fall colors in this shot.

Beautiful picture. Good color balance and sharpness.

I probably would point the camera more to the right (or crop quite a bit of the left) so that the subject is not dead centered.

This truly is a beautiful image. The color saturation and softness of the image are superb. I have to disagree with the previous comments. Yes, the church is centered, but there are so many things going on around the edges -- the tree to the upper right, the bush to the left, the walkway to the lower left -- that it would have been impossible to include those elements and allow them to provide the juxtapositional counterpoints to the church if it had been framed any other way. I also like the grey cliff face behind the church because it adds framing as well as context. Without that rock face, this could be any church out in the midwest somewhere. The cliff lets us know that this is in a mountainous region. Great job!

I can't see how anyone can criticize the composition of this beautiful photo. I think it is perfectly framed, and the backdrop adds a real feeling of presence to the photo. This one really reaches out and grabs you with the beautiful natural shapes as well as the chapel's architecture. Excellent!

Nice tone range and colors. Powerful composition, very pleasing to look at. Not very original, but high on aesthestics. Keep up the good work !

I can't see *anything* wrong with this image. The grey rock contrasts nicely with the main subject, and there is 'breathing space' and just enough contextual interest around the building. Excellent.
