photo club birthday. Made in absolute darkness with Canon Speed light

580 flash.

So you have been in a completely dark room together with an amazon who had a sword and the only thing you could defend yourself with was a 20D and a 580EX? What where your tactics? Blind her with a burst of stoboscopic light, then throw the camera at her and use an umbrella as a shield? ;)

In fact she was dancing and constantly moving. I had one second to take that picture, conditions were in a field, as we say. What is surprising me, is rather good quality of shot. In color it looks the same way.
