Anyone know why I'm getting those dark streaks on the right hand side?

Is this a scanner problem our could my film holder be the cause?

Edward, there are many empty spaces in your picture. If would like to show this doll, you need to eliminate other things, because the other things call my attention. And this is a little bit out of focus

I really enjoy looking at this photo. It's odd and disturbing. I like the staring doll, sitting in front of an empty space. I also like the echoing eyes on the bag (?) behind the doll.
