Beautiful expression and outfit. Did you crop out the left arm or shoot it that way? Interesting effect with the elbow holding the edge of the image.

very good imagery, though the blurring is too obvious in some areas, specially on his hat, on the right side.

This is a very lovely picture. One quality that I appreciate in it is a sharpness of the details together with a depth of the lines. The latter is created by quite dark shadows. All together it gives this impression of realistic painting that makes it so interesting. It must be a mixture of lighting and post-processing. I really would like to know what techniques you have used.

Thank you.

Giuseppe Barbesino: Thank you for nice comment :) ...uhm, it's a pity, but my English is not good enough to explain the technique :( but i did it in Slovak language already below this photo http://www.vivo.sk/index.php?action=photo.show&fid=2772 - try to ask some Slovak or Czech speaking friend to translate it for you... this was the mine part, and than I increased contrast selectively by using curves and again final color adjusting... that's all :)

...and one more thing - this shot was taken with canon 10D, it's very easy to get such look from this camera. for example - it is much, much harder to modify pictures from D70 I am using as well... yeah, sounds crazy? but it's like this :)

Hope it will help you...

cheers

Looking at the clothes I believe you are Polish :-). It's PERFECT. Well, the only thing that looks strange is his "cut" arm. Looks a little bit like disabled. But everything else is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! Best regards.
