All photos in this folder were taken at Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia PA. This was the first true Penitentiary in America built in 1829 and had prisioners in it till 1971. It is now a national Historic site.Here is the Barber shop .

This is the photo that moved me to buy my wife a G2 (she still believes it's her camera :)

 

16, 21, 28, 45, and 90mm later, I had to buy one for me for a travel camera with a 35-70. But I still can't take pictures like this, but it's fun to try.

Michael, you caught the lighting in this shot perfectly. The way it is cast down on the chair really draws my focus into the chair. I wonder of the history this chair has and how many times it was used. This is a wonderful picture with great texture and really leaves a mystery of a story behind. I love the old abandoned subjects. I have been shooting on an old abandoned army base near my home and there are endless subjects which are quickly disappearing.
