pascale_wowak 0 Posted September 3, 2005 lynn, lovely photo! a couple tweaks if you are interested: since they are both looking downward, i woudl have left more "free space" on te ground and less water space above their heads. I also would have angled myself slightly more behind them so that the hand holding would be more evident/more the focus ofthe picture since their faces is obviously not the point inthis picture, it's the affection between them which is displayed via the hand holding, so i would have made that a bigger "part" of teh picture with clear "space" for it. By that, I mean her shorts are so close to her hand that the hand holding almsot gets lost in this picture. The reflections on teh water and sand are great. The emotion/feelings of the moment are evident. Well done! Link to comment
aramat57 3 Posted September 3, 2005 The subjects don't look like they are in focus. Also I think I would crop from the top to get rid of whatever that is in the upper right side. Link to comment
lynnwood42 0 Posted September 5, 2005 I agree with the above people, that it would have been better to have had more of the ground and less of the water in the picture, since they are both looking down. I also agree that maybe the subjects are 'slightly' out of focus. But....this shot was not planned. I was at the beach and saw these two walking down the beach. I thought they looked adorable and loving so I grabbed my camera 'as fast as I could' and snapped a quick picture. The didn't know I was taking their picture, and the son ran to the water right after I took their picture together. Link to comment
