Guest Guest Posted September 2, 2005 I saw Andrzej Dragan's stunning work and thought I had to learn how to do that myself. So I browsed my archive for an old man's picture, found one with great content but zero visual impact, used some techniques for the first time and after 45mins this was the result. Now I like it. Do you? Have I been excessive with the technique? What can I do better pp- and photography-wise? Please comment and vote! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 2, 2005 Great portrait of an impressive and expressive face! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 2, 2005 ... btw I should add that the original photo was just a snapshot and that his look certainly meant "If you take a picture of me, I'll kill you". Good thing is, though, that he wasn't too serious about that :) Link to comment
leepix 0 Posted September 8, 2005 This by the way is unusually strong and well printed. Nice work. Link to comment
patrickjacobson 0 Posted September 8, 2005 Superb ps work i must say.. made it very powerful. Those eyes with the skin tones/texture and the white hair/cig.. i like it! 6/6 Regards, Patrick J Link to comment
davenwar 0 Posted November 11, 2006 Everthing is perfefct and great, as it has been said. I can't estimate how good the technique is cause I haven't seen the original but, apart from that, the results are very good. The only thing that disturbs me a bit is that light is his right eye. It doesn't look real to me. Link to comment
