Nice, cooperative little hopper. What do you think about the DOF? Too

much out of focus?

I think it's just right in this particular composition. In other cases, it might be better to have just a little more dof to get his rear leg and antennae completely in-focus. This frame works well, I believe. I also like the muted colors.

I think that is how t should be done all that matters in focus and the rest blurr with a big aperture for a macro. Good job for both you and the hopper.

Very interesting picture, these metal green and red brown tones are quite uncommon. Focus is good, DoF is a little bit "narrow". It doesn't matter for the antennae, it's a little more noticeable for the rear leg but no big deal anyway. Good job !
