single photos Bigtooth Aspen, Miramichi River

Bigtooth Aspen leaf (I think!) on the Miramichi River. This area used

to be part of the river bed, but water levels have been dropping and

leaves are replacing fish as denizens among the rocks. Thanks for

looking!

Colour is excellent but if zoom in will better for the grass is interferential and too much area wasting.

A well seen and beautifully colored photo, but I think it could be better with a different composition. Maybe some rotation with the camera (see my rotated version of your photo) could do the trick. The center biased composition is quite uninteresting. Anyway, I liked your version too.

I like this one. The yellow leaf is a nice contrast with the color, texture and coldness of the rocks.

Lovely colours. I think the composition could have been a little better if the leaf was not in the middle of the frame ... but I'm not sure !

nice shot, the composition is a little stagnant (having the leaf on a slight angle might have made image more dynamic). Colour contrast is interesting, but did you want the rocks this blue?

Thanks for all the great comments. My intention was to keep this simple, almost boring in terms of composition to highlight the color and contrast. Being late in the day, the rocks are a bit blue. Post-processing may have emphasized that as the original is a little more gray. Thanks for your time,
