I like the composure and location of the image, but some overexposure is evident. The upper corner of the building and the greenery in the background almost blend in with each other causing a loss of feeling of depth. Perhaps, is it post0-able in color?

I agree with John that there appears to be some lost detail or lack of contrast in the background. What method did you use to convert this to a monochrome image? If you have access to PhotoShop you may want to try using the channel mixer to increase the contrast in the background areas and get more separation between the building and the background. Would you consider posting the original color version?

 

I like this shot very much. It reminds me of someplace I have been that I can not recall at the moment. I guess that means it has universal appeal or something.
