Nice pan Ken, I can't imagine how hard these are, whenever I try to take them I end up with things out of frame :D

This is the type of image that I would've loved as a HUGE poster on my wall as a kid growing up. I mean that in the best of ways, since I was a really picky kid. ;-) Bravo Ken! Bravo! (much clapping follows)

Spectacular image Kenneth.

You have managed to shoot in the exact moment. I imagine that it will not be very simple... :)

Hello Ken, you're my blue angel, the very first rating on everyone of my photos is from you, you tickle me pink! And how come we're not seeing some new great storm shots from you? I'm waiting. Or some more of these spectacular air show photos.........this one is amazing.

Very impressive shot, Kenneth...one of the best in this style, if not the best...compostion and sharpness are perfect...can you give us some technical hints ? shutter speed, aperture, lens, shooting position...?

And thanks for your comments and ratings too !

my best regards

Jean-Pierre

Hi Anastasia, I have my feet on the ground for this shot, shooting with a zoom at 300. But I like the idea of being in the other plane.:-) The formation of the planes are at a bank (turning) That is why it looks like I am above them shooting down.

Jean, the best I can recall it was shot at 250 and F-8 but please do not hold me to that. This shot is the best in a set of 15 as the formation does a 360o turn around the air feld. Thank you all for your kind ratings and comments! Best to you all and happy shooting, Ken

Ken , I saw this stunning shot of yours a long time ago ( was it the same ? ) and never rated it. Any comment on my part would be superfluous. Sorry I took so long .. ;o)
