Dave, you got a masterpiece here. I see that you got new toys as well. How do you like your macro lens? Now, is this natual light or did you use a flash?

Jerry No Flash here just natural light.

I have had the Macro lens for some time Jerry, I just don't do much macro work so I do not use the lens to much, but I think it is a very good lens its not fast at focusing but I did this picture manually anyways.

I used a tripod for this picture too and well there a pain in the bum. ;o)

There is something I forgot to do when I took this picture that could make it better but I am learning all the time. (Mirror lockup)

Excellent macro, very sharp. I read you intend on using mirror lockup but don't know how you could get much better than this. Love close-ups of caterpillars.
