Clever shot Aaron. I like it a lot. The radial arrangement countered by the direction of the shadows works well. Even the sliver of white sky adds another radial line. Well done.

Look at those poor, lonely posts, doesn't look like they have any wires joining them... tragic. Any suggestion that the posts were the first thing that I saw in this will be strenuously... em...

Great perspective, changes of contrast between the layers, and what Leigh said about the sky.

A very celtic foreground, standing stones in the shape of star constellations. The lines are highways to ancient gods.

Thank you both for your comments.

Leigh, the white sliver is actually another field. I really had my doubts about including it or not, but felt the top was a little empty without it. I'm glad you see it fits in the composition.

cheers,

Aaron

I like this one Aaron - I'd agree with both Leigh's and Stephen's comments. The B&W really emphasizes the graphic nature of hte composition - probably more so than in colour. And for some reason I am endlessly fascinated by fence posts in water so I appreciate them here. And the stones and their shadows just seem oh so perfect! The thin line at the top bugs me somewhat - but cropping it up sort of compromises the fence posts.

the perspective, the shadows of the stones, the tones: everything is spot-on here and it's a very original idea. i'm also unsure about the white line at the top. great portfolio, i'm enjoying & being inspired..cheers, hugo

I think the white line at the top offers continuity and balances nicely the composition...

Very consistent portofolio! Keep posting and I'll keep admiring!
