Antelope Canyon

For sure the S-shape pulls this above many a similar shot which I've seen around here, but I am -as many- fascinated by the yin-yang analogy. To bring this further, your treatment of the shadows and details in the dark structure gives live to the darker part of the image, and therefore gives a third dimension to the just black/white yin-yang symbol, with lots of tones of red on a side and blackish purples of the other.

Jamie, this is looking straight up. I had the tripod fairly close to the ground and used the flip out screen to align the shot. (The flip out screen is the main reason I haven't bought an SLR - I love it that much :) ).

Don't worry about the highlights and shadows. This is the most original slot canyon shot I have ever seen. I love the range of light and tones you've captured here. Very well done.
