I like the shot overall, but the reflection of the background in the skin shows something in the background that has been replaced by a blank grey area that is kind of distracting. There is nice detail in the engine and the rivets in the planes skin. Other than the background, this is a really nice image.

Just happened to see a special--?History Channel?- the other night on this very aircraft and/or the atomic bomb.

I think the B-29 was the lovliest bomber aircraft to come out of WW-II; and it was the most expensive weapon system of the war, costing more (~$3 billion) than the Manhattan Project (~$2B), whose end product it was designed to deliver.

The engine you depict gave a lot of trouble in the plane's early days, tending to overheat and burst into flame. They were trying to squeeze maximum power at high altitude out of a triple array of radial cylinders.

Amazing that a single fighter-bomber like the F-16 or F/A-18 can deliver about the same weapons payload as a WW-II heavy bomber.

Geez, I have digressed....Love the image on technical, aesthetic, and historical merit.

Feedback on my work also appreciated.
