The impact of this image could be substantially improved, by cropping to the areas of discernable light (i.e., past the first arch that is in deep shadow) from the top and sides. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted November 9, 2007 I like the shot very much, and the framing of the arch. However, you're losing too many middle tones. I wasn't very careful in preserving the highlight at far wall, but you get the idea. Why lose all the information from the source film/scan? Link to comment
