imagesofarchitecture 0 Posted August 22, 2005 The Oberbaumbruecke (upper-tree bridge) crosses over the east harbor in Berlin. In the 19th century, the name "Oberbaum" refered to trees placed on the upper side of the bridge that were used to stop the barges from passing until they paid the toll. Link to comment
