Berlin: Gleis 17

This piece of track is the remainder of "Gleis 17" (track 17) from

where the Jews of Berlin in 1944 were deported to the death camps. The

track is located at the S-Bahn station Grunewald, which is surrounded

by a forest. A metal plate into which the names of the death camps

were stamped decorates the platform beside the track.
