Was just sitting on the corner, saw the homeless man on the left,

then saw his stuff leaning against the pole on the right, thought it

was an interesting shot. What do you think?

Homeless man...but what does your eye go to when you first look at the picture....is it the round white sign or the girl in the white top....if the homeless man is your key element in this picture, he should have also been the first thing you should notice. Maybe if he was lit by a headlight or streetlight and you would have captured that moment.....

My thoughts too. Maybe cropping the shot to remove the girl and the sign might help a bit. I might go back one night and try again. Just wasn't possible at the time.

Thanks for the thoughts, Detlef, they are much aprecciated.

I agree, I don't find myself looking at the homeless man (too dark for one thing). I think a more interesting shot would have been a verticle shot with just him and the people around him (including the one in the distance on the right), MAYBE including the 3 "e" signs. Depends on how that part came out. Could be a distraction.
